My name is Ernie McElrea, Owner of Kawartha Lakes Appraisal Inc. I have been a real estate appraiser based in Lindsay, Ontario since 1988. I hold the CRA (Canadian Residential Appraiser) designation from the Appraisal Institute of Canada. Since being granted the CRA designation in 1994, I have re-certified three times within the Appraisal Institute’s Continuing Professional Development Program. I am currently certified thru September 2011.

During the past 21 years, I have developed a thorough working knowledge of local market conditions within the City of Kawartha Lakes (former Victoria County) and bordering areas. I have appraised approximately 5,800 residential properties since 1988.

My background includes an honours degree in Economics as well as 6 years spent as a real estate salesperson.
